Add your own vehicles

Add manufacturers, models, generations, and engines alongside the shared catalog. Keep the vehicles you work with in one place.

Questions about Customizations

Which plans include Customizations?

Customizations is available on Pro and Max plans. Free, Plus, and API plans do not include catalog editing. Only the account owner can make changes; team members use the owner's catalog.

Will my changes affect other customers?

No. Your additions, edits, and visibility settings apply only to your account. The shared Remapdb database remains unchanged.

What happens when Remapdb updates the database?

Shared updates continue. If an update adds a record you have already added, both may exist as duplicates. Review the notice and choose which record to keep visible. Hiding a record does not remove the duplicate relationship.

Why is a visible record unavailable?

A parent may be hidden or unavailable. For example, hiding a manufacturer also prevents its models and engines from appearing, without changing their own visibility settings. Your widget's vehicle type settings still apply.

Can I delete shared records?

Shared records can be hidden, not deleted. You can delete records you added yourself, after reviewing any related records or links in the confirmation.

Can I import a whole database?

The current release lets you add and edit records in the app. It does not include bulk database imports or a separate publish step. Saved changes apply to your account's catalog.

Does custom data work with the API?

API v2 uses your customized catalog when your subscription includes Customizations and API access. The Max plan includes both. API v1 keeps the shared-catalog behavior.
