Questions about access, billing, and what is included
Which plan should I start with?
Free is for evaluating the widget or a low-volume website: one website and up to five quote requests per day. Plus adds branding and unlimited quotes on one website. Pro adds up to five websites, catalog editing, and advanced quote controls. API is for developer access; Max combines API access with advanced widget and catalog features on up to ten websites.
Does the API plan include all Pro features?
No. API includes developer API and MCP access but uses the shared catalog and has its own widget limits. Pro includes Customizations and advanced widget features but no developer API. Max combines those capabilities. Compare the feature rows before choosing.
Are ECU tuning files or calibrations included?
No. All plans provide vehicle information and the stated product features. Remapdb does not supply original or tuned ECU files, process uploaded binaries, or flash vehicles.
What does file upload include?
On Pro and Max, customers can attach supporting files to a widget quote request. Your business receives links with the enquiry. The files are not automatically identified, modified, or returned as tuned files.
Do VIN and registration fields include automatic lookup?
No. They let the customer type details into a quote request. They do not decode a VIN or look up a vehicle from a registration plate.
How does yearly billing work?
Yearly billing charges the annual total for your selected plan. The displayed per-month figure is the annual total divided by twelve, not a monthly instalment. The standard annual prices shown are 20% below twelve monthly payments.
What happens when I change a paid plan?
Higher-cost paid-plan changes apply immediately with proration; lower-cost changes and a downgrade to Free are scheduled for the end of the paid period. Review the effective date and amount in the app before confirming a plan or billing-cycle change.
Which plans include API and MCP access?
API and Max include developer REST API and MCP access. Free, Plus, and Pro do not. The WordPress plugin connects the hosted widget and can be used with Free without buying developer API access.
Which plans let me edit the catalog?
Pro and Max include Customizations in the app. Max also includes API access, so API v2 can return your customized catalog. The API plan alone reads the shared catalog.
Which plans include dealer locations and advanced quoting?
Pro and Max include dealer selection, the standalone dealer map, in-form pricing, custom messages, auto-reply emails, and quote attachments. Configure and test the settings before publishing.
Can I remove Remapdb branding?
Yes. Plus, Pro, and Max include removal of Remapdb branding. The table shows the other styling controls available by plan.
Can I return to Free?
Yes. Schedule a downgrade in billing settings. Your paid access remains available until the current paid period ends. Review your website count and features so the setup fits Free when the change takes effect.
