Set your services and customer estimates

Choose available tuning services, enter your rates and currency, and check the customer’s estimate and price breakdown.

Before you start

An installed widget with quoting. Estimate pricing requires an eligible plan. These are your service rates, not Remapdb subscription prices.

Recorded in the Remapdb demonstration environment with example data. Use your own account details and review the saved result.

Put it into practice

  • Enable only the services and vehicle categories you offer.
  • Enter your rates; an enabled zero-priced item means free.
  • Check the estimate and breakdown. Changing currency does not convert rates.

0:00 Services and customer estimates

Choose the services customers can request, then show clear estimates for the work you offer. The live preview on the right shows the quote form your customers will use.

0:16 Availability and disabled price fields

Manage services and pricing separates your offering by vehicle category. These price fields are disabled while pricing is switched off. The service switches still control what customers can request, so you can offer quoting without displaying prices.

0:31 Pay attention to category warnings

The Trucks banner explains that this vehicle type is disabled in Settings. Its services will not appear to customers, even if prices are entered here. The Settings page confirms Trucks is off. We will leave it disabled and configure Cars only.

0:47 Enable pricing and choose currency

Back in Quoting, enabling pricing unlocks the price fields and customer estimates. Choose the currency for your rates. Changing currency does not convert existing amounts, so review the numbers whenever it changes.

1:01 Zero really means free

Prices start at zero by default. An enabled item left at zero is genuinely priced at zero in the customer estimate; it does not mean price on request. Enter a price for each item you offer, or switch it off. The save warning helps catch missed prices.

1:18 Set a complete offering

For this video, we fill the fields with example prices. Use your own rates for every service and option you offer, and switch off anything you do not provide. Saving makes these prices available in the customer estimate.

1:33 See the customer estimate

The right-hand preview now uses those saved rates. Choosing a service and an optional extra produces a three-hundred-pound estimate: two hundred and fifty for the service, plus fifty for the option.

1:46 Understand the price breakdown

The information icon opens the breakdown, showing the service, selected extras and total together. Customers can see what contributes to their estimate before making an enquiry. The final price remains subject to review. Keep your available categories, enabled services and prices current. If you do not want to show estimates, leave pricing off while keeping the services you offer available. Next, widget branding.
