0:00 When styling help is useful

The branding configurator covers almost every everyday styling need. Help is available when you cannot achieve the look yourself, or your design needs custom CSS.

0:16 A more demanding design brief

This Apex design goes further: angular cards, layered shadows, gradient borders and distinctive focus states. Colors and fonts provide the foundation. The extra shapes, surface treatments and responsive spacing are the details a tailored CSS adjustment can address.

0:34 Open styling assistance

From Branding, Help me with styling opens a request for your website. You do not need to write the CSS yourself. Describe the result you want; available styling assistance depends on your plan.

0:47 Provide the exact page

Include the page where the widget appears, so the team can see its surroundings. A specific page is more useful than a general description of your brand.

0:57 Explain the outcome you want

A useful brief names the details: match the angled actions, add a subtle gradient edge to the results, and keep the quote form consistent. Mention mobile spacing and keyboard focus too. Add references where helpful, and explain what you have already tried.

1:14 Submit your styling request

Submit the request to send your brief to our team. The confirmation explains when to expect a reply. We review the design and provide the custom CSS by email.

1:25 Receive your custom CSS by email

Once the styling is ready, our email includes the CSS and where to add it. Here is the response for this example, with the code for the requested finish. Copy the complete CSS.

1:37 Paste and save the custom CSS

In Widget Branding, paste the supplied code into Custom CSS and save. These styles apply to your widget, including the quote form. The website picks up the saved design when it reloads.

1:50 Completed example of the brief

The widget now carries the site's lime accents, asymmetric corners and layered surfaces. The tuning card has a gradient edge and a deeper background. These targeted details connect it to the website while preserving the vehicle information and familiar controls.

2:07 Carry the design into quoting

The quote form follows the same visual direction. Its header, inputs and action buttons remain recognizable, while a visible focus ring helps customers track the field they are using. Styling supports the enquiry, rather than distracting from it.

2:22 Use the right level of help

Start with the configurator for your usual branding changes. When you need a hand, or a particular finish requires custom CSS, share a clear website reference and brief through styling assistance.
