0:00 Configure Remapdb widget settings
Widget settings control the customer experience, page information and vehicle links. Switches save automatically; text fields have a Save button.
0:15 Default language
A fixed language gives customers a consistent experience. German changes the preview controls and results, and the same translation appears on the website after a refresh. Automatic detection follows the visitor’s browser language, using your default as a fallback. This browser returns to English.
0:36 Vehicle categories
Category controls keep the selector relevant to your business. Here, cars and motorcycles remain available; the other categories disappear.
0:46 Vehicle image
The vehicle image helps customers recognise their selection. Its switch removes or restores the photo while keeping the vehicle details. The manufacturer logo adds another visual reference. It can be hidden independently, without removing the vehicle name. The chart compares reference performance gains. Its switch controls this section; these figures are estimates, not a physical dyno measurement.
1:12 Performance units
Units adapt the figures to your market. Foot pounds converts torque; kilowatts converts power. The underlying tuning data stays the same. The website starts with your chosen units. Customers can still switch to their preferred display.
1:28 Automatic metadata and Append
Automatic metadata describes the selected vehicle. Append keeps your original page title first, then adds the vehicle. The description updates too, helping identify the page. Prepend puts the vehicle first, making that selection easier to recognise in browser tabs and search results. Replace uses only the generated title, keeping it concise when the original page title adds little. Title placeholders insert the selected vehicle and stage automatically. One template gives each selection a relevant title, shown here in the live HTML. The description summarises the vehicle, reference figures and next step. Search engines can use this metadata for a snippet, although they may choose different text. The separator makes the generated vehicle title and original business title easier to read. Social metadata supplies the title, description, image and link for sharing previews. These live Open Graph tags describe the vehicle; each sharing service controls its preview. Structured data describes the selected vehicle in machine-readable JSON L D. It helps search engines interpret the page, without guaranteeing a special search result.
2:51 Visible vehicle summary
The summary adds readable vehicle details to the website itself. Customers see this sentence, while the same text is present in the page HTML. Summary placeholders turn one template into vehicle-specific text. The revised sentence combines reference figures with an invitation to enquire, on the page and in its HTML. A container ID places the summary in an existing website element. Here it moves above the widget, keeping the details close to the vehicle selector.
3:24 Shareable vehicle links
The query in the address stores the vehicle selection, so customers can return to this same result or share its link. Clean URLs replace the query with a readable vehicle path. This WordPress site supports those routes; other websites need matching routing. Opening the address directly restores the same result.
3:45 Vehicle query key
The link key changes the query parameter name. The address now uses vehicle, while keeping the same selection. Existing links and website routing need to match your chosen key. With clean URLs enabled, that same key becomes the path prefix. The new vehicle path opens directly to the result, confirming that this website handles it.
