0:00 Install the Remapdb widget
Install Remapdb to bring vehicle lookup to your website.
0:10 Before you start
Installation needs your Remapdb account and access to edit the website. Features depend on your plan. Widget installation brings website access and the installation snippet together, ready for your page.
0:24 Allow your website
Website access uses domains. A full page address also works: Remapdb extracts the domain. The saved domain confirms website access. Domains and subdomains use separate entries within your plan. Pages on the same domain share one entry.
0:44 Copy and paste your widget code
The complete snippet includes the widget container and the script that loads your account’s widget. The widget fits inside page source or an HTML block that permits JavaScript, at the vehicle section. The snippet goes inside the vehicle section on its own line. Keeping the container and script together lets the page load the connected widget correctly. Saving or publishing updates the page. Each page should have one main widget. Apex Tuning introduces its services, then gives visitors a way to explore their vehicle and its reference tuning information.
1:25 Test a vehicle lookup
The selector narrows the catalog from vehicle type and manufacturer to the model, generation and engine. Each list follows the previous choice. View remap loads that vehicle’s results. The result identifies the selected engine and shows reference gains. These figures are estimates; actual performance depends on the vehicle. With quoting enabled, the enquiry form connects vehicle results to a customer request. Later videos cover its options.
1:57 Troubleshooting and installation options
For a missing widget, check the saved domain, complete snippet and JavaScript support. The page needs to be published. WordPress has its own plugin. The dealer locator uses a separate embed for your branch network.
2:14 Get installation help
Installation assistance connects you with the Remapdb team. The request includes your website and where the widget should appear, giving the team useful context. Submitting shows Request received, with the reply address and expected response time.
2:32 Installation complete
The widget is installed. Next, Widget settings controls its language and display options.
