0:00 Install Remapdb in WordPress

The WordPress integration connects your Remapdb account and adds the vehicle widget to your pages.

0:12 Before you start

Installation needs WordPress plugin and page-editing access, plus a Remap D B account. Widget installation shows your allowed websites and the WordPress plugin instructions together.

0:25 Open Add Plugin

The official integration installs through the WordPress plugin directory. The Remapdb plugin is published by remapdb, making the official listing easy to identify. Installation adds the plugin files. Activation makes its connection and widget controls available in the Remapdb menu. The shortcode determines its position on your pages.

0:49 2 · Connect your account

Plugin settings starts the account connection. Connect Remapdb opens a window to link this website with your Remapdb widget. The connection window identifies the website requesting access. Confirmation links it to your account; a new host may need website access first. Connected confirms the account link. The site host identifies the website that will use this widget. Subscription shows your plan and capabilities. Host allowed confirms that this website can display the widget.

1:23 3 · Copy the shortcode

The shortcode places the connected widget in page content, without adding the HTML embed script. The widget can sit within an existing page. Here, the page editor controls the homepage’s vehicle section. A Shortcode block gives the widget a position within the page, alongside your existing content. The copied shortcode loads the widget connected to this account. One main widget per page keeps the integration clear. Saving updates the existing page. A new page needs publishing before visitors can use it. On Apex Tuning, visitors explore the services and reach the vehicle selector within the same page.

2:10 Test the widget on your WordPress website

The selector narrows the catalog from vehicle type and manufacturer to the model, generation and engine. Each list follows the previous choice. View remap loads that vehicle’s results. The result shows the selected engine and reference gains. These are estimates; actual performance depends on the vehicle. With quoting enabled, the enquiry form connects those results to a customer request. Its options are covered in the quoting videos.

2:41 Optional · Clean vehicle URLs

For clean vehicle links, the plugin needs the page containing your shortcode. The homepage selection sends those links to this site’s vehicle section. Widget Preview displays the connected widget inside WordPress. Its settings and branding remain managed in your Remapdb account.

3:02 If something is missing

For a missing widget, check the connection, allowed host and saved shortcode. Support also provides cached- data cleanup and access to the Remap D B team.

3:12 WordPress setup complete

The WordPress integration is ready. Next, Widget settings controls the language and display options.
